Melo - a Day Party

Melo was launched late last year, as the first event of it's kind South of the River. Creative Agency, LXF (lxf.com.au), local to the Secret Harbour area, created the event with the aim to engage our local community, showcase the incredible space with sweeping ocean views, provide a platform for the arts and offer a new place for patrons to enjoy the very best local food and drink offerings. In addition, Melo provides vital income for the Surf Life Saving Club, local businesses, and musicians.

In the first two events we have welcomed 700 patrons, given back almost $10 000 to the Secret Harbour Surf Life Saving Club, provided a stage for over twelve different musicians and directly supported four local and diverse businesses, from grazing boxes to unique hanging garden baskets.

The event has been enjoyed by adults both young and old with a primary demographic of 18-24 year old young professionals and students, alongside a strong proportion of 35- 50 year olds.

LXF
